SLO Color Blast Fun Run

SLO Color Blast Fun Run

PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE ALEX MAIER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND AND BLACK & GOLD BOOSTERS

The SLO Color Blast Fun Run is a non-competitive 5k run/walk with a twist. The twist with this run is the fun, as the audience covers runners in a multicolored array of special dust made of corn starch which is completely safe. When the race is over, participants look like masterpieces, with a palette of colors.

The Alex Maier Memorial Scholarship Fund and Black & Gold Boosters receive the proceeds from the fun run, in honor of San Luis Obispo High School soccer player Alex Maier (#23) who was killed in a tragic car accident. The Fun Run was conceived to help fund scholarships in honor of Alex, and to promote a day of fun, friends and family.

We hope you’re excited to come participate in or watch this wild and wonderful event. Thanks for visiting the Color Blast Fun Run. We look forward to seeing what colors you’ll end up wearing at the finish line.
